K.Y.G. was founded in July 1945 and was originally named Kwang-Youn Engineering Factory.  It was registered in the Kaohsiung Harbour Bureau.  Later the factory name was changed to Kwang-Youn-Gi Engineering Co. Ltd. due to business expansion. Our company has had rich experience in the marine business for 59 years. Also our quality management system has been approved by Lloyd’s Register quality assurance ISO9001. We maintain state-of-the-art technology and service at international levels.  We are in a joint and cooperative venture with Azuma Kako Co. Ltd. Japan, which is the world leader in low temperature welding and reconditioning processes. Our Kaohsiung factory does ship reconditioning as approved by all classification societies.Throughout the years we have consistently upgraded our equipment and enlarged our factory areas.  In addition, we have maintained a skilled and experienced workforce in the area of ship repairs.  We are the leading marine repair service in Taiwan with an international clientele.
