"AB "Vakarų laivų gamykla" was established in 1969, privatized by the Estonian BLRT Grupp Concern in 2001. In 2003 metais VLRĮ was reorganized into AB "Vakarų laivų gamykla" company group with 23 companies.  Group main activity fields – ship repair and modification, ship building, stevedoring and storage services, metal construction production, metal processing, hot galvanization, transport services, procurement, etc.  All Group companies are located within the territory of AB "Vakarų laivų gamykla". Almost 96 th. m² area of covered production spaces is outfitted within 50 ha territory. Company has some prime priorities when competing with global ship repair, that is its geographical position and and high quality of works.
