This is with regards to the availability of our facilities and services for the drydocking and repairs of your goodvessels.
In spite of the adverse circumstances which have created a negative climate for selecting Greece as a repair destination we would like to assure you of our Shipyard’s normal and uninterrupted operation and of our best attention at all times.
In this regard we are attaching an invitation letter drawn by the Administrative Board of the Union of Elefsis Shipyards Workers which is self explanatory and which is sent to all members of the Greek and International Shipowning community in hope that this will induce Owners to entrust the drydocking and repair of their vessels with Elefsis Shipyards.
Best Regards, ELEFSIS SHIPYARDS E. Georgiadis Commercial & Production Director N. Pappas Sales & Marketing Manager

Letter drawn by the Administrative Board of the Union of Elefsis Shipyards Workers
Date: 05.07.2011 To the Owner, Managing Director & Technical Department
Dear Sirs, The Administrative Board of the Elefsis Shipyards Union of Workers and the 750 employees of Elefsis Shipyards, in an attempt to revive the working relationship and trust that we have built over the years with the Greek and International Shipowning Community and which has now been lost due to the global economic crisis on one hand and the “special circumstances” that prevail in the Perama Repair Zone on the other, kindly request that, before deciding on the final destination for drydocking and repair of your good vessels, you will give the opportunity to our company to quote as well for the required repair and drydocking works by sending us your valuable enquiries.
In the hope that this request will meet with your positive response we would like from our side to reassure you of labour peace, excellent quality of work by Greek craftsmen, prompt delivery times and on behalf of the Shipyard’s Commercial Department of competitive quotations and discounts which, as far as possible, will be in line with those offered by competing shipyards from our neighbouring countries of the Mediterranean.
Anticipating that our request will have your good cooperation and valued support for the mutual benefit of our companies,
We remain
