Who should attend: Superintendents, Newbuilding project responsible, Ships’ officers, personnel in Operations & Chartering.
Learning Objectives: Upon successful completion of this course, delegates will obtain knowledge on:
- Typical design and equipment requirements for chemical tankers
- Carriage requirements for individual cargoes and basis for issuance of “List of permitted cargoes”
- Cargo operations regulated by mandatory code/convention requirements
Information:
- The presentation and the material will be in English.
- Mr Jens Riksheim, Senior Principal Surveyor, being a specialist on Chemical Tankers and with more than 30 years in DNV will be the course instructor.
- Scheduled for 14 hours (including breaks).
- Each participant is provided with comprehensive course documentation & hand-outs.
- Upon successful course completion, the participant is awarded with a Certificate of Training.
